Christy Summerland likes to write with a rock and roll sensibility.  Her main characters are typically outgoing yet wounded, and come across with a lot of attitude.

While none of her characters are based on a specific person or persons, she does throw some of herself into the main character (Kasey Laughton in Like Dark Minds), mixed up with some of her favorite wild women in fiction and life.

She is currently working on Like Dark Minds, which will be released in 2010.
